After 13 years of exhibitions, art fairs and 440 litres of white paint, ROKEBY gallery operations have now closed. First and foremost, we would like to thank the 77 artists we have met and presented, many of whom have become close friends. We will continue to engage with the collectors, curators, writers and collaborators and friends who have supported us over the years in our new roles within the art community. We look forward to updating you soon about our new endeavors as we move into 2018. |

We Beat The Bounds is a new work for local choirs by artist Abigail Reynolds, commissioned by Tate St Ives to celebrate the opening of the new gallery. In the UK the ancient custom of ‘beating the bounds’ takes the form of a parade around the edge of a legal boundary, such as a village or common land, beating it with a willow wand. The choirs will sound the bounds through the galleries with a vocal and percussive score by Gareth Churcher, beginning at 11:00, 14:00 and 18:00, from the loggia. |

Cecilia Canziani is a curator and art writer living in Rome. She is co-director of the Nomas Foundation, Rome and teaches at the Accademia di Belle Arti in L'Aquila, the American University in Rome, and IED European Institute of Design. She was contributing editor of Cura magazine, and last year she was Research Fellow at the Henry Moore Institute. She has curated numerous independent exhibitions, projects and publications.
Bettina Buck was recently included in the exhibition To continue, Notes towards a Sculpture Cycle | Coda Rome, co-curated by Cecilia Canziani and Ilaria Gianni, which the performance Another Interlude was commissioned for.
